Performing Credits

Sam’s performance credits range from his current residency at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in Soho London and membership of Nigel Kennedy’s Voodoo Children Band to an extensive list of live bass credits with some of the best known names in world music.

Sam has played at the Royal Albert Hall for the Queen’s Birthday, with names ranging from Jeff Beck, to Bruce Forsyth, from the BBC Big Band to the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Sam has been the resident Bassist in the Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club House Band since 2007.

Nigel Kennedy's Voodoo Children

Joining Nigel Kennedy's Rock Project in 2020 Sam will be playing live dates post Corona Virus in 2021.

Accrington Stanley

Before going to music college Sam was a member of indie band Accrington Stanley for seven years culminating in a stadium gig in Tokyo, Japan. Sam recently joined the members of Accrington Stanley past and present to celebrate lead singer Dan O'Farrell's 50th Birthday. A sold out Joiner's in Southampton suggested they have lost none of their original verve.

Tom Cawley's Curios

Sam plays with Pianist Tom Cawley and Drummer Chris Higginbottom in Com Cawley's Curios. They play a range of original compositions as well as interpretations of Jazz Standards. Tom and Sam are also members of the Acoustic Eclectica studio writing team.
